Madison New Year's Eve Bash
WES Productions (DJ CHiLL) in collaboration with JP Hair Design and the Madison Times is hosting the 2009 Madison New Year's Eve Bash 'Red Carpet Event & Fundraiser' at the Madison Marriott West.
Due to financial hardship and the state of the economy, funding for scholarships has declined; and the Salvation Army has received an enormous increase in requests for financial assistance and other programmatic services. We have chosen to donate a portion of the profits from the Madison New Year’s Eve Bash to the Capitol City Scholarship Fund & the Salvation Army, Kappa Alpha Psi Scholarships, and The Madison Links, Inc. Scholarship Fund.
The fundraising event will be held from at the Marriott Madison West located in Middleton, WI, 6 p.m. - 2 a.m., Thursday, December 31st on New Year's Eve. The day will be spent promoting diversity and strengthening the relationships between Wisconsin's businesses, various organizations and the Madison community through music, laughter and networking. Representatives from the legislature, corporations, small businesses, state agencies, community centers, non-profit and other organizations already have committed to participate in the event.
The Madison New Year’s Eve Bash will begin with a Partners In Giving Networking Reception at 7:00 p.m. in the Wisconsin Grand Ballroom, featuring a Press Conference on the event proceeded by donation presentations and sponsorship recognition. During the reception, a professional photographer will be on site for photo opportunities to include sponsors, specials guests, legislators, city officials, volunteers and media personalities.
Then beginning at 8:00 p.m. we will host more than 1,000 people at the event that will feature a fun packed program. Event offerings will include an All-Star Comedy Show (Tony Roney, TC, and David "The Showman" Freeman), a Live Concert with Charlie Brooks & Soul Food featuring Clyde Stubblefield (Madison favorite R&B, Soul & Blues band) and non-stop dancing in 3 different party rooms with 7 of the hottest DJs in the Midwest including DJ Triple X, DJ LaTone Hart, DJ Captain 2 Fresh, DJ Surprise, DJ Ant, Lady DJ UHN UHN, and Chicago's Best Variety Mixologist - DJ CHiLL. In addition to giveaways, exhibit displays, and literature from our sponsors. VIP and Marriott Hotel rooms packages are available.
